Le Martin Pecheur - Réserver une table

My husband and I stopped for lunch at this lovely cafe/restaurant, beautifully situated by the Vezere river in St Leon. The proprietor was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious. Being an outdoor cafe we could also bring in our dog who was as welcome as we were. We would most definitely go back again and would recommend it to others. Karen and Michael.

This is only a cafe, but when ordering a chicken Caesar salad, I did not expect the chicken to come in nugget format! Despite being quiet, all tables had small chalkboards stating that you had to go to the bar to order, and, once prepared, food has to be fetched from the bar. Oh, and they hadn’t cut the grass for weeks! Apart from that, it was ok.

We had the Caesar salad and Grand Marnier crepes. We enjoyed the salad more than the crepes. Most of all, it was special sitting outside in the garden overlooking the Vezere river. We had fun watching a group of teens that were in canoes that were climbing ropes hanging from trees and then swinging into the river!

Having no expectations at all. We arrived in this cafe/Resto. Having a salad was the best choice for me ,all the ingrediënts where fresh. Staff very friendly. Location next to the water. Probably the best from the town for a quick snack.

Came here with family for lunch , great menu and plenty for the children to choose from. Feels like you are say in someone's garden. Great portions, well presented , a great stop for lunch
