Ça a l'air douillet ! Recommandé!

We took refuge in Le Medieval on a rainy day in August, when even though we were a bit later than the traditional French lunch serving times (12-2.30), the lady in charge kindly made us up the most delicious omelette served with Earl Grey tea and her own recipe for soda bread. We had a lovely conversation both in French and in English and along with the omelette the whole encounter was just what we needed on a fairly grey day. Lovely classical piano music was playing in the background and although it wasn't in use while we were there, there is a piano in the cafe which is used for live music on Sunday afternoons. Sounds cosy!Recommended!

We visited this little gem twice during our summer stay, both times were very enjoyable. First visit we sat inside as the weather was cool and had a very nice afternoon tea. We had asked if we could bring our little dog inside and after checking that she was well behaved was told yes and she enjoyed laying under the table while we ate. I love the how the french are so dog friendly. Our second visit was a much warmer day and we enjoyed a beautifully presented salad on the small terrace. Once again well presented and very tasty. We will definitely be visiting again.
