Le Millerand - Réservation de table

An incredible dinning experience, exquisitely prepared local dishes by Chef Patrick Marion. It was our last evening, so we were deceived to only have experienced these creative dishes prepared with passion, only once. The ?chic-shack? atmosphere is basic. Service is discreet and unpretentious. Highly recommend reserving your table well in advance, reserve for two evenings. Looking forward to discovering where this talented chef will be residing for his winter term in Montréal, before returning to these gorgeous islands next spring.

The experience was a bit inconsistent; it’s great to see a new addition to the islands offering local specialties. The oysters gratinée are a luxurious delight, but while the fish in the fish and chips is fresh and flavorful, serving it in a paper bag with the fries tends to make the batter soggy, which is disappointing. I hope the restaurant gets settled in soon and becomes a must-visit in Havre Aubert. The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and appropriately paced, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal. The halibut was cooked to perfection, and I absolutely loved the polenta fries, along with everything else on the plate. We were grateful for the servers' efforts to communicate in English. The salted caramel pecan tart was heavenly! We felt extremely fortunate to dine here before they closed for the season.

Absolutely world-class! Finally, a place where just one cocktail can give you a nice buzz! These folks really understand what it means to craft a drink! I had the most incredible soup at Le Millerand—the asparagus cream soup! When the soup is that good, you know the rest of the menu is going to be impressive too! Can’t wait to return! The menu and ambiance hinted at exceptional cuisine, but unfortunately, the food and cocktails lacked flavor. On the bright side, the beautiful view, appealing presentation, and friendly service were definite highlights.

The lunch menu was quite uninspiring, but the dish I selected was truly delicious. It appears that fresh seafood is hard to find on the islands at this time of year.
