Eh bien, notre groupe de quatre personnes avait été informé à l'avance de la rapidité du service, ce qui, semble-t-il, n'était pas le cas de certains autres critiques (bien qu'il semble que ce soient des critiques britanniques qui se plaignent de ce que vous voulez), nous le savions donc à l'avance. .ce n’était pas un dîner qui serait précipité. Je parle français, mais pas le reste de mon groupe, mais la serveuse m'a quand même expliqué, dans un anglais impeccable, leur façon de faire. La nourriture était surtout fantastique. Deux entrées de soupe aux artichauts étaient réconfortantes et riches, une autre entrée de parcelles de fromage de chèvre était délicate et piquante, et l'autre entrée...
The service was very slow and the chef obnoxious, the serving staff were friendly and polite. Starters although very slow to come out were very good, goats cheese salad. The main meals were even slower and when the tartiflette eventually appeared it was cold in...the middle. I can forgive the odd hiccup, but the chef coming out and saying it’s not cold and arguing with you is not what you want to be paying for. Tartiflette went back and after microwaving came back out but still cold, chef standing over you whilst you try again is very intimidating. Eventually meals came back at acceptable temperature but they forgot one. This all went on whilst the group had finished their mains. When paying...
We ate here on the last night of our ski weekend. The front of house staff were lovely but they were let down by the behaviour of the head chef. The fact that the food was so slow to come out could have been forgiven...but when the tartiflette was cold and we had to return it twice to be heated up, plus had and aggressive chef standing over us arguing that it was fine because the French don’t eat hot food we’d had enough.....not to mention that they had totally forgotten to even partially cook one of the four dishes totally so one of our party had no food at all. Nous avons mangé ici en famille la semaine dernière et avons adoré non seulement la nourriture mais aussi le service. Le propriétaire nous a servi et a été incroyablement patient et attentif pour nous expliquer le menu. La nourriture est arrivée rapidement et était délicieuse exactement ce que nous recherchions. Une vraie cuisine de montagne française. Des fondues de toutes sortes et des glaces locales. Nous reviendrons à Samoëns pour manger ici à nouveau.

Visited the restaurant this skiing holiday as was fully booked last year when we tried to get in. To be honest it was below our expectations. We both had the entrecote we boeuf and was just ok, certainly nothing to write home about. The desert...menu was a sticky plastic menu with basic deserts that didn't impress. We eat out each day of our day holiday and this was the worse meal we had, much better places in town and on the mountain
Not bad food, but not as good as anticipated. Entrecôte de boeuf was ok, but I could probably cook it the same at home and that’s always a measure of a good restaurant. If it’s better than you can do at home then it’s worth...visiting. Plus the frites were oven cooked from frozen. Big no no
Bel endroit confortable, excellentes raclette et burger, très bien réalisés régionalement. Serveur et gérant très gentils. Service efficace et détendu, sans se sentir pressé pour libérer la table. Il est nécessaire de réserver un restaurant à Samoëns ou ils ne pourront pas entrer.
Personnel très sympathique et nourriture excellente. Maki roule un porc ibérique superbe. Recommande fortement. Mes amis ont eu le filet de bœuf, fondant en bouche. Très bon vin local, la Mondeuse, qui complétait parfaitement les plats.

Nice cosy place, excellent raclett and burgers, very regionally done. Waiter and manager very nice. Efficient service and relaxed, not pushed out so they can do sittings. You must book any restaurant in Samoens or you won't get in
