Le Moulin De Celac

This was a family outing and it was really great to be allocated a round table which enhances the social interaction. The owner made us very welcome. There was a warm ambience and the decor was modern fresh and clean. There was a huge log fire but not lit as its now summer but I would imagine that really is wonderful in winter. There were some starters ordered by three of our party (see photos) and they were very good. For the mains we ordered various pizzas and pastas. These were all exceptional. We went with friends and needed to cater for a vegetarian (me) and meat eaters. We did not want crêpes or pizza which are the obvious choices for a veggie in Brittany. So we came to the Moulin de Celac, which does also do pizzas, and everyone had a great meal! The veggie choices included a Veg Burger and a noodle and veg stir fry. I had the burger which was sautéed onions and veg covered with grilled mozzarella, tomato and cornichons (gerkins). The bun was good bread and it came with chips and salad. We often come to Celac for a pizza to eat in or take away. The pizzas are always excellent. On Saturday we had the full set menu and it was superb. Very good starters imaginatively served a tartare of salmon and mango and a beef carpaccio were high points. For mains we had deliciously tender filet mignon of pork, and the fish of the day which was a pan fried sea bass, each with perfectly prepared and dressed roast and steamed vegetables. Desserts were an excellent mixed fruit crumble, a caramel sundae, and a delicate and creamy saint marcellin. All with top quality cider (there is also an excellent wine list) and very friendly, attentive service. A total recommendation.

We called in here one lunchtime because the place we were followed by icreintending to eat was closed . I am so glad we did we had a lovely lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful , and very busy just two of them coping with a full restaurant . We each had a starter off the carte and the plate of the day which was merlu followed by icecream, we were both too full to attempt any of the other tempting deserts. There is also a pizza menu . Nous mangeons ici depuis des années, que ce soit pour le déjeuner ou les repas du soir. Toujours d'un bon rapport qualité-prix. Les pizzas sont excellentes, mais si vous ne les aimez pas, il y a de nombreux autres plats parmi lesquels choisir. La décoration est charmante, à la fois à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Les restaurants en Angleterre pourraient apprendre de la présentation des plats dans ce restaurant. Bon service.

We ate a couple of times here on a recent holiday. They do good pizzas and both fish and meat dishes we ate were good. The service is friendly though at times erratic. There are tables out on a terrace overlooking the lake for good weather; inside the atmosphere is lively making it a really enjoyable experience.

Ma femme et moi ainsi que de nombreux amis avons mangé ici à plusieurs reprises. Nous recevons toujours un accueil chaleureux et attendons avec impatience un repas de haute qualité, préparé et présenté avec soin. Ambiance très détendue, le restaurant est situé à côté d'un magnifique lac.

super bienvenue, service au sommet, pas d'attente pour finir comme vous pouvez voir ailleurs ... de délicieux repas, vous serez heureux de revenir avec notre loulous. et le prix de la valeur, rien à dire n'était vraiment bon. Je recommande Réservez une table maintenant

La nourriture est excellente, le service bon, amical et direct! Le mélange parfait pour notre dîner en famille. Nous recommandons les linguinis aux fruits de mer et le dessert au chocolat "mi-cuit".

bâche moyenne, non assaisonnée et pas de condiments mignons de porc sec et trop cuit. autrement le service bien amélioré
