Le Moulin des Voisins

In spite of knowing the area well over 20 years we've only just started visiting Callas and even then have only just now discovered lunch at this gem. We were there on Sat lunchtime in July but no problem to walk on and be seated on the terrace. Service was excellent and the two young servers were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu... not always the case. The 17 Euro lunch menu was perfect inc 1/4 litre wine. The portions were very generous and very flavorful... mozza salad with superb Boeuf Tomate, chicory with walnuts and Roquefort, a large thick juicy cote De Porc, well cooked tuna. I completely excuse the oven potatoes a bit burnt on outside but so good inside! Fine desserts. This place definately on our list for favourite lunch spots.

Ate here as a family last night on our last evening in Callas. Lovely staff, a terrace with a good atmosphere and very well presented food as well as a well priced menu at 26 Euros. Unfortunately my 11 year old son was very sick in the middle of the night and a couple of other family members also spent an uncomfortable night having eaten the same dishes, the hamburger maison and barbecued pork. Maybe it was the tap water we had ? either way the management need to look into it to save the reputation of a restaurant that is otherwise a great asset to the lovely village that is Callas.

This is the second time we have eaten here and I have to post that this place is amazing! Real food for real people who appreciate the time and effort it takes to create.The service was the best, attentive and very helpful in suggestions. The chef came to chat and the humain connection with him talking about food, life and food really added to the evening. Would I come back? Duh stupid question, When am i coming back. I know I'm not waiting for a special occasion to come back, coming here to eat will make my day special!

We revsited the restaurant this summer and if anything the offering has improved since our last visit. Unlike some of the other village restaurants, the Moulin's dishes are all freshly prepared with well chosen accompaniments of vegetables. We had some excellent sticky pork ribs (confit de travers de porc), first rate swordfish and good desserts. A very good village restaurant with a really good value set menu.

Our family had an excellent lunch at this lovely place. We were very well received, the service was first class and friendly and the food delicious.
