Nous habitons près du Vigan et avons décidé d'y passer pour dîner tôt. L'emplacement est magnifique, juste au bord de la rivière, et la terrasse assez spacieuse pour ne pas se sentir à l'étroit et permettre une conversation confortable. La nourriture, d'après ce que j'ai compris, est fraîche et préparée à la commande. Il y a des plats intéressants et très savoureux. Les cuisses de grenouille à la Provençale étaient délicieuses. We live near Le Vigan and thought we would swing by for an early dinner. The setting is beautiful, right by the river and the terrace spacious enough that you don't feel crammed and can have a comfortable conversation. The food, I understand, is sourced fresh and cooked to order. Some interesting dishes and very tasty. The frogs legs "Provencale" were delicious. Maybe a little on the expensive side for the Cevennes, but worth the price as the food does not disappoint. However, the welcome is distinctly frosty. The food prepared and cooked by Jean-Philippe is always beautiful and fresh and of good quality. His sauces are outstanding. Julia is an excellent host, with...good knowledge of local wines and is always happy to recommend dishes on the menu. The lovely setting with its outside terrace next to the stream makes this a wonderful place to eat out.

Beautifully located, along the Herault river, we have been enjoying again the kindness of Julia and her husband. She is presenting the genuine products of his cuisine, well made and with surprising combinations of flavors. The last time we went, we were accompanied by friends....They too, like we, will come back again and again, everytime we are in the area. Highly recommended!

The setting for this restaurant is stunning, just by a beautiul river in a very peaceful place. The food is lovely fresh classic French food and Julia who runs it is English which makes communication easy. There are lovely walks up into the mountains from near the restaurant too.
