Nous sommes tombés sur cet endroit presque par accident... nous voulions un endroit proche de l'hôtel qui était raisonnablement noté. Quand nous sommes arrivés et avons vu le menu italien, nous avons failli partir (ayant passé une semaine en Italie), mais nous étions fatigués et la décoration était très intéressante donc nous sommes restés. Nous sommes TRÈS heureux d'avoir pris cette décision! Notre serveur, Hamdi, (service fantastique!) nous a donné quelques antécédents et l'histoire du restaurant (le menu change toutes les 2 semaines pour des mises à jour d'ingrédients frais, de saison et locaux. We found Le Nicoletta by chance while we walking the streets of St. Germain-en-Laye. The first time we did not have a reservation and could not get in. But when we did, we did not regret a moment. The menu is very short, but very enticing. The names of the plates are interesting as they are take offs from various films by Alain Delon. The food is wonderful. And you may be served by Nicoletta herself, but the rest of her team is fantastic too. The restaurant is small, so make a reservation. If you happen to be in the Paris area, don't hesitate to take the train out to St Germain, visit this beautiful town, and enjoy a most excellent dinner at Le Nicoletta.
Nous avions une réservation mais quand nous sommes arrivés, la réalité était différente ! Malheureusement, personne dans le restaurant n'était serviable même après avoir montré la correspondance par e-mail confirmant la réservation. Alors faites attention. Par chance, nous avons trouvé un restaurant mexicain avec une excellente cuisine et des gens formidables ! Le restaurant mexicain était plein mais comme ils savaient ce qui s'était passé, ils nous ont aidés ! C'est là toute la différence !
The Nicoletta has just completed a year in St Germain and makes a great addition to the choice of restaurants in the town. It offers a selection of appetisers to share, and main courses dominated by different pastas. Meat and fish dishes are available but the choice is limited. Good choice of Italian wines. The restaurant is small (seats c. 27) and the kitchen tiny. Friendly staff; good value for money (dishes are copious). Réservez une table maintenant
Ce restaurant propose principalement des pâtes bien cuites et au véritable goût italien. Large choix de vins italiens également. L'inconvénient est le succès de cet endroit. La salle est petite, bondée et assez bruyante une fois pleine. La réservation n'était pas bien gérée et nous avons donc dû changer de table pendant notre dîner. Ils nous ont offert un digestif gratuit, ce qui a été apprécié.
Having read the reviews and talked to people, I found this was a bit of a disappointment.The food quality is good. The service is fast and efficient, but there is just something that does not work for me.The tables are crammed in, the food is designed to be fast and easy to prepare and whilst a clever idea, it didn't work for me.It obviously works for others based on the reviews.
Je ne comprends pas la note élevée. Le service était tellement mauvais, le vin était mauvais (nous en avons essayé quelques-uns), mon mari a trouvé un cheveu dans ses pâtes et la nourriture n'avait pas bon goût du tout! Peut-être que vous devriez économiser votre temps et votre argent pour un endroit où vous pourrez apprécier : santé!
