D'après notre expérience, vous ne trouverez pas de meilleur déjeuner à Cluny : de la bonne cuisine honnête, préparée frais et à un prix plus que raisonnable. Le restaurant est également une boulangerie, donc vous devrez vous battre avec les clients qui veulent juste acheter du pain. D'ailleurs, le pain est excellent. Ouvert pour le déjeuner et occasionnellement pour le dîner, le restaurant est petit mais a suffisamment de personnel. Si vous êtes seul(e), il y a un bar avec vue sur la cuisine. You have to look for this restaurant as it is away from the town center but I would say worth a visit for a simple yet very tasty meal. The menu is changing all the time so not a chance to have the same meal twice if you go there regularly. The meal are original with some unusual forgotten vegetables, courge spaghetti with asian sauce for starter, choice of fish, daube de boeuf, tomates tartes tatins and goat cheese salad for main. Almost everything served at Le Pain sur la Table is organic and locally sourced. Every day at lunch there is a limited but tasty selection. Sometimes during the high season (June, July, August) the wait is long as the kitchen gets overwhelmed since everything is prepared fresh to order, so don't come if you're in a hurry. Nous n'aurions pas trouvé cet endroit si notre ami végétarien amateur de bio ne nous avait pas dit où aller. Près de la gare où la D465 traverse la rivière. Des plats frais bien cuisinés offrant des options végétariennes autres que les habituelles omelettes! Le pain est exceptionnellement bon et on peut l'acheter après le repas, bien que peut-être un peu cher, mais il est bio! J'ai mangé ici quelques fois et la dernière fois était très décevante, donc j'ai décidé de retenter ma chance. Mais c'était encore un repas décevant ! La tarte était brûlée par endroits, avec très peu de garniture, accompagnée de polenta (je crois), de la laitue grossièrement hachée avec une vinaigrette balsamique et des graines de tournesol, et des feuilles de chou avec quelques graines de carvi dispersées dessus. Dans l'ensemble, une assiette fade et peu appétissante. Cependant, le pain accompagnant avec des graines de sésame était bon.
Very tasty organic food, direct from the kitchen and bakery that you can enjoy on a nice terrace excellent home made desserts at lunch they have some five choices on the menu. But don 't be in a hurry, the staff are very nice but overwhelmed by a full house . So sit, back, relax and enjoy! From the outside, look for the sign Patio Nature then you have the right place.
This is a place where French people go, not tourists. It's a bakery restaurant, but it isn't open in the evening. Great lunches and desserts. Organic food and vegetarian-friendly as well. Excellent service. Reservation recommended. I had a beet-fromage blanc terrine there that has inspired me to try making it at home.
