Le Papet - Réservation de table

Nous avons mangé ici il y a quelques semaines lors d'un séjour à la magnifique Maison Felisa dans le même village. La nourriture était très bonne, mon seul reproche est que j'ai demandé mon porc bien cuit, et il est devenu si rare qu'il a presque disparu de l'assiette ! Maintenant, je mange mon bœuf saignant mais pas de porc, et pas quand je l'avais demandé bien cuit ! (attention, je ne me suis pas plaint, j'ai juste mangé les bords et quitté le centre donc je ne peux pas dire si le restaurant l'aurait remplacé, etc.). Mais l'entrée, le dessert et le plat principal de mon mari étaient excellents. Prix ​​très raisonnables et tout fraîchement préparé. Le service était bon, j'étais juste un peu...

I had not been back to Le Papet for several years; my husband's father lived in Pont St. Esprit, about 20 miles north. Life experiences recently took us back to Saint Laurent des Arbres, and we were delighted to visit Le Papet again for dinner. It is a stunning restaurant. The food not only is excellent, but also is served with beautiful touches and presentation. Small violet flowers graced the fois gras, and the main dishes had artistic sauce garnishes on the plates. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and my guests' meals of pork were delectable. This is an A+ place to dine.

We came to this lovely little restaurant upon a recommendation from our hotel. What we found was among the best meals we've ever had... and we've eaten a number of Michelin star restaurants. The food was innovative and beautifully presented. The duck with foie gras was probably the best duck dish I've eaten. Although we do not speak French in a restaurant that is clearly a neighborhood favorite, the staff was very patient with us and attentive. I'd make sure to eat here again if I'm anywhere within the area. It's worth a trip!

J'ai commandé le poisson du jour, l'assiette était joliment décorée et les sauces étaient bonnes, la star de l'assiette. Malheureusement, le poisson avait un goût de poisson qui avait traîné une semaine dans le magasin avant d'être cuisiné. Il n'avait pas de goût frais ni bon. Le poisson avait une texture sèche rappelant de la viande séchée (ce qui arrive souvent avec du poisson vieux) et même un peu de mauvaise odeur. Le reste du repas était super bon. Réservez une table maintenant

It's a stylish restaurant in the middle of nowhere, quite a surprise. Decor is good, service fine and the food is OK but not spectacular. I had what claimed to be pulled pork and, while it was perfectly tender it certainly hadn't been slow cooked. But overall it's a welcome change from other so,so restaurants in the vicinity.

We had dinner the first night of our trip and we expected something definitely better in term of food and taste. We had some fish of the day that was served with baby pasta as side dish without any real taste! For the amount of money that we spent it is definitely overprice place.

Enfin, nous avons pu manger à nouveau et c'était agréable de manger ici en terrasse sous le soleil du soir. Très beau menu avec des ingrédients typiquement français, nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Trop long à attendre! C'était troooop long. Il n'y avait pas beaucoup de clients, mais il a quand même fallu du temps pour avoir notre repas. De plus, le service du serveur n'était pas génial. Réservez une table maintenant

We had a surprisingly good meal at this little restaurant near Tavel. Fine dining at a reasonable price. They have a nice wine list featuring excellent local wines of Tavel and Lirac.

it seems in the middle of nowhere - and it probably is - so real french location in a small town, with really nice food at reasonable price.
