Il s'agit d'un hôtel traditionnel de taille moyenne niché dans une banlieue résidentielle calme. Il a une façade sur la rivière. Les commodités les plus proches, quelles qu'elles soient, se trouvent à 15 bonnes minutes à pied. Deux d'entre nous ont passé une nuit en revenant de vacances dans le sud-ouest de la France. Nous avions réservé grâce à la recommandation Michelin et nous attendions avec impatience un bon repas. Mais nous avions oublié que c'était dimanche et, bien sûr, le restaurant était fermé. This is a traditional, medium-sized hotel tucked away in a quiet residential suburb. It has river frontage. The nearest amenities of any sort are a good 15 minute walk away. Two of us stayed one night travelling back from a holiday in SW France. We had booked because of the Michelin recommendation and were looking forward to a good meal. But we had forgotten it was Sunday and, of course, the restaurant was closed. There was an afternoon wedding reception on when we arrived and we got the impression that visiting guests (albeit with reservations) were the last thing the hotel wanted. The ambiance and service were really good and this is a nice restaurant to go to if you want to do something special. They have tasty fresh baked bread and the dishes look amazing. However, that simultaneously is the issue, they look fantastic but disappoint in taste. The cod carpaccio seemed to be coming from the freezer and was watery. The pasta with salmon was good but could have used some more flavoring and the bun that was supporting the desert was going soft and was fairly tasteless. You can have a three course menu for 39 eur which is a very reasonable price, but if you order a la carte the food seems to be overpriced (42 eur for a very small sized portion of steak). Très bien situé juste au bord de la rivière. Service fantastique et attentionné. Super menu varié. De la nourriture à tomber par terre. L'entrée de profiteroles de crabe araignée était une première pour moi. Vaste gamme de fromages.

his has a great location by the Loire river. Everything seems very formal and smart but it didn't have much atmosphere, maybe because there were very few diners. The food was good and nicely presented, if a little fancy.
