Le Petit Bouchot - Réserver une table

Had lunch here today after searching on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. We had not booked(foolishly) but luckily we were given their last table for two. Many arrived after us and were turned away. Clientele were predominantly locals out for Sunday lunch, but also the restaurant was closing today for three weeks. We shared Moules marinieres for starters which were superb and risked French ‘fish and chips’ for mains. The freshness of the fish was a real treat, and the batter was exceptionally crisp and light. Portions voluminous, so sadly no room for dessert and due to closure no possibility this trip to return to try more menu offerings. Would highly recommend.

Cela fait près de deux ans que je ne suis pas allé ici à cause de COVID et avant cela j'étais régulièrement au restaurant comme 3 à 4 fois par mois. Pendant ce temps, le restaurant a changé de propriétaire. Aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé de revenir. La décoration a changé et était très belle et le siège était bon. Malheureusement, je ne peux pas en dire autant de la nourriture. Le service était correct. Le prix était cher. J'ai pris le fish and chips en comparant avec le passé et j'ai eu une petite portion de poisson et une grande portion de frites. Il y a un restaurant pas trop loin de celui-ci et vous en avez plus pour votre argent et de meilleure qualité.

Pleasurable experience service was great and friendly. I liked the sense of fishing history associated with the restaurant evident in the old photos of fishermen going about their business on the walls above the service counter. It also appeared to attract local people as well as tourists. The food was great and i particularly enjoyed the soupe de poisson avec croutons followed by the kouign amann a bretagne dessert that was very tasty.

A lovely friendly welcome and great food. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night too. The Fish and Chips were as good as I've had in the UK and the lady also spoke excellent English (which was a bonus).

Perfect, typical authentic fish and seafood. Brittany at its great cuisine. Good vibe and easy paced. Recommended!
