"The restaurant was very quiet, but it was only 7.00 oclock. when we left at 8.30 it was full. The food was very good but the service was not to its usual standard. We still enjoyed the meal for 5 people, the wine, and beer, were great. Great value. Will be back."

This is a restaurant like many in the Provence: fantastic setting but somewhat uninspired kitchen. The terrace is absolutely lovely with lots of shade and many pets wandering about. The staff is great as well, very friendly and welcoming. The food is typical Provencale: well prepared, simple, tasteful but rather small proportioned when you choose only a main dish. Menu's are better value but then you commit to 3-4 courses which might not always be what you want. This restaurant has a menu which can be found in each village in the Provence. We had tasty large shrimps but it was only accompanied by a large portion of rice and a very simple salad. Not sauce with the rice. Quite unimaginative, but that it the case for 80% of the restaurants in this area. I hope that this will change in the near future. This restaurant has that potential and we hope it dares to step outside its comfort zone and it will develop its own identity.

Le Petite Jardin has a wonderful atmosphere, excellent staff that are always smiling and ready to greet you. This place is perfect after a long car drive passing through the town of Viens or after a hike through the luberon valley. Le Petite Jardin has a wide range of meals from stuffed tripe (the lining of sheep stomach) to well cooked steak with a peeper sauce. Here you will embrace what it is like to live in a medieval town in Provence. At this restaurant the staff will always put you ahead of themselves, are prepared to have a laugh and will bring you your food in no time. At this restaurant you are the top priority.

Four of us went this evening to this really charming restaurant for dinner this evening. The menu was varied, the staff pleasantly attentive and efficient and the ambience in the garden really pleasant. We chose a variety of dishes and all were very well presented and delicious. There was a good wine list with plenty of choice. The menu prices were reasonable for the quality dishes on offer. We left with the memory of a really good meal ,in charming situation and with very good and helpful service. What more could one ask for?

I have visited the restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. There is always a good choice to suit every taste, The owner and staff are attentive and always try to speak the language of the diner, which must be very difficult . I look forward to my next visit in 2023
