We were greeted and shown to a table with a wonderful view over the gorge and were promptly served with a varied plate of tapanade and sausage with a welcomed jug of water. We ordered a demi of white and waited a short while for the bbq food which tasted wonderful and there was lots of it. A large lamb chop, sausage and gammon severed with salad and fries. Then followed a wonderful ice cream. Cost for 2 of us 40 euros. They have been there for 25 years and we were pleased to be able to return and have the same high quality service and food. Thank you Le petit jardin for letting us re live the memory of a special day we shared 20 years ago so pleased to find you still there !.

Drawn in by how pretty the restaurant was and the mist spray for the plants on a hot day. After the initial jokes about a group of vegetarians choosing to eat at a grill predominantly serving meat we were sat at a table by the very friendly and funny staff. There isn't really a menu you just chat with the waiter and he keeps bringing out new dishes until you can't eat any more. All very fresh, locally produced and well presented produce, couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Shocked when we got up to pay and it was all so cheap!

We had been told that it was an idyllic terrace overlooking a lovely gorge and with wonderful grilled food. It is indeed a terrace but the view is somewhat spoilt by thick brambles which intrude onto the outer tables. The owner said "we like fun people", there was a waiter with a grey pony tail bringing buns with left over meats in them and some mashy vegetables, ratatouille etc, near very basic meats. No chicken, no steaks. A bit hippyish, clientele not of the cleanest.

For a flat price, a little under $20 U.S., you are may eat as much as you like of salads, fries, grilled meats, and desert. Drinks are extra. The restaurant was very busy the night I was there. Considering the very basic nature of the food, I found the price a bit high despite the at-will offer. But the formula might work for you and your family (much lower prices for small children)
