Le petit paysan

We were looking for a chance to sample the local cuisine - especially the locally produce - bleu de vercors de sassenage. To our delight the evening special was regional produced raviolis in a sauce of said blue cheese. So good. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was ample and tasty. The proprietor offered a sample of his house specialty for dessert. We were too full to enjoy it but it too was really nice. Not at all a "tourist trap". Worth a visit.

Had a lunch, and decided to take a hamburger with french fries. Was one of the best hamburger meals I have had for long time! The menu has a lot of different alternatives (salads, meats, fondues & raclettes, hamburgers, etc.), the place is very nice with chalet type of decorations, and the reception & service friendly and fast. Will definitely come back!

Been coming to Villard de lans for 15 years and this week I must say we had our very best meal at Le Petit Paysan. Amazing food and service with a smile. A great evening

We had a crepe salad and french fries. The food was fine. Ambiance good. Location good. Service fine.
