This restaurant is an experience, not just a meal! My partner and I had the seafood set menu, with the cheese course. All the set menus looked lovely and were all varying prices to suit most budgets. Our starter and main were absolutely fantastic lobster dishes, the selection of cheeses was extensive and the desserts were interesting, different and beautifully presented. The food was all exceptional and explained very well by our waitress (who we believe was also the owner). The love that goes into all the food and service was very obvious and made for a fabulous meal on our last evening of holiday. If you're in the area, you have to come here!!!
Gobsmackingly wonderful. Superb delicate dishes which are a lovely mixture of so many tastes and textures. This restaurant is just north of Challans in the Vendee Department, and south west of Nantes. Definitely worth a long drive to eat here. Must be in the running for the best restaurant in France. We chose the Menu Marachin at 34 euro each and it was so delicious. Magoli is very welcoming and charming and Davide creates lovely , delicate, subtle dishes in the kitchen. Relaxed, calm, atmosphere and greatly appreciated by us over many years. Very highly recommended
I had a major birthday to celebrate, and invited 15 friends to lunch at the Petit Saint Thomas.Everything was perfect. The sunny back room used for parties is elegantly decorated. Organisation, food and service were impeccable, and my guests were most impressed.Dishes on the 35€ menu had interesting twists to them. We had champagne and chic nibbles; then Saint Jacques, pigeon, cheese ad exotic pud to follow.Easy parking across the road
Although it was very busy the service was perfect with efficient and friendly staff. The waitress did a good job of explaining in English the dishes she presented. We had the menu Découverte which was quite amazing and the wine was exceptional too. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Well done!
