You could easily think that you are stepping into a cool indie London bar or an arty Berlin squat … but you are in fact in the sleepy and rather boring town of Reignier, only a stone throw away from Geneva, Annecy or many popular...ski resorts. Nonetheless, the Poulpe is an amazing bar owned by the friendliest staff ever and visited by a great crowd of students and local musicians alike. Gigs and DJs play there most nights and it boasts a restaurant to die for. No trendy leather seats or pretentious decor here, just a mish-mash of rock memorabilia and second-hand furniture which gives it an extremely welcoming and warm feel. On pourrait facilement penser qu'on entre dans un bar indé londonien ou dans une discussion artistique berlinoise... mais ils se trouvent en réalité dans la paisible et ennuyeuse ville de Reignier, à deux pas de Genève, d'Annecy et de nombreuses stations de ski populaires. Néanmoins, le Poulpe est un bar incroyable, doté du personnel le plus amical de tous les temps, fréquenté par de nombreux étudiants et musiciens locaux. We came with family and friends. We were worshipped precisely because the place seemed to be family and relaxed. The garden is very pleasant with tables, sun chairs or garden lounge. C'était un arrêt rapide avec des amis dans un petit village près de Genève, le personnel était super cool et nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux. La cuisine est parfaite pour un dîner convivial, savoureuse, innovante, locale. Ils ont une grande variété de bières différentes du monde entier. C'était une expérience réelle que je n'oublierai jamais.
