France is hard to find restaurants open let alone when they ask you if you'd made a reservation on this night that was the case we had tried another Pizzeria around the corner and they asked for a reservation which we did not have so we ended up in this place, which turned out to be very fortuitous. Lovely guy greeted us and asked if we had a reservation we said no he said we are very busy but we have some space upstairs if that's okay which we said fine and he proceeded to show us to the table. Italian-based menu three of us had pizza and one had a salad, really nice pizza and the girl who had the salad who could only eat gluten free said it was delicious. I wonder if the dinner reviews are based on a different chef or menu because our lunch wasn’t good. The service was very friendly though. The kid’s pizza, as one reviewer stated, seemed store bought and heated up. My kid liked it though. I got the rognons de veau (kidneys with pasta) and it was so heavy and oily that we couldn’t finish it. The side salad that came with my appetizer was good though…could have gone with more of that and less of the kidney! Everything seemed to need a bit of salt seasoning, too.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre visite pour le déjeuner pour plusieurs raisons. Tout d'abord, nous voulions manger à l'extérieur, à la fois pour profiter du soleil automnal et pour réduire les risques de Covid. Procopio avait de belles tables au soleil. Deuxièmement, le personnel était sympathique et serviable. Enfin, et surtout, les burgers étaient parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons mangés depuis longtemps.
J'ai eu 2 excellents repas ici lors de mon séjour à Montrichard. Restaurant animé et convivial avec un excellent menu et des plats du jour. Nous avons dû mettre notre nom sur la liste lors de notre deuxième visite, donc ça vaut vraiment la peine de réserver. Nous avons pris des pizzas, des steaks et des plats de pâtes ici, tous excellents, tout comme le vin. La terrasse extérieure vaut également le détour.
