I ate here before I knew what to expect. in the night through the old part of châteauroux they appear, and they will be surprised how many restaurants there are, but all are empty. when they arrive in le ptit bouchon, they cannot help to notice that. it is full and busy. Welcome to the very friendly chef owner and his equally pleasant staff. very interesting arerot deco that makes fun! the kitchen is well above average and they can feel the chef enjoys his art. I like this restaurant and come every time I travel to châteauroux. last summer I have appreciated a lot of eating and service (see previous review . I was amazed by the taste of champagne, but not too much attention. this time, I ordered champagne again for apéritif. when I was in the restaurant (too cold to stay outside during the Christmas season; the waiter came and served a pétillant. I told him I ordered champagner and he replied that it was the same! after a discussion, at the end of the meal, he lowered the price of the pseudo-champagner, as he knew very well that he lied. So I don't trust them anymore and guess that eating isn't always as fresh as they say.

I stopped here when I had a damentag. very nice eating, beautifully presented with good service. chose a fish started and pornstars, both perfectly cooked, followed by a strawberry soup 'very beautiful.
