Le Pub - Réserver une table

As it was in the second half of September and cool in the evening we had supper here because the covered terrace had a heater and was a pleasant temperature. Savory biscuits and olives were put on the table. I had the wok cooked chicken which was nice enough although the soy sauce had been overdone. My wife had cote de boeuf with frites that had been cooked to her order but part of it was quite tough. We shared a chocolate fondant that was excellent. Drinks consisted of a small 'pression', a fruit juice, a small sparkling water, one coffee and a 50cl bottle of over-priced (21.90 euros) local wine. The bill came to 91.50 euros. We stopped here for a meal after morning on the beach with the family. We all had moules fritters which were lovely but over priced. My son had the children's menu, fish and chips again over priced. His chips were very salty and his fish had come frozen from the supermarket. My son could not eat the fish it was tough and unfalvoursome, We complained , They threatened to call the police !! hillarious ,we asked them to please do , all we wanted was the child's meal deleted from the bill, very over priced with a waitress who lost her un sunny disposition the moment we moved to a sunnier spot as the wind came up.

... but a little pricey. We used to come here two years ago and the little one wanted to come back as she loved it. The setting simply is a bit more posh and more attractive (not only) to youngsters than the more traditional restaurants in Carqueiranne. Le pub is always busy so it seems to be working. We did enjoy the evening.Staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu hasn´t changed (much?) since our last visit but the food was still very good.

Visitez ce magnifique restaurant avec une ambiance très française dans le port de Carqueiranne. Un service parfait et un plat du jour avec une cuisine excellente. Du poisson local combiné avec du riz parfaitement cuit servi avec une sauce tartare crémeuse. Les olives et le houmous servis en apéritif étaient épicés et superbes. Un départ parfait pour le déjeuner. Nous reviendrons !

Friendly place mostly French spoken. Lovely atmosphere, very popular as the food is very good. Le Pub is right opposite the Marina and sometimes the road outside is shut to traffic and tables are set outside fantastic sitting having a drink or dinner.
