The ratings for this restaurant on here are very well deserved. It's probably the best restaurant in Sene and among the best in the entire Vannes area. There is, simply put, no reason for you not to go. Seriously, just go, you won't regret it.The dishes are extremely tasty, made with fresh, healthy ingredients and presented with an understated elegance. They have a large variety of seafood dishes but you can also find alternatives if that does not interest you.What's very attractive here is also the value for money, which is outstanding. For 21 euros, you can have a 3-course lunch menu (starter, main dish, dessert), which I would say is definitely on the low-end considering the quality of the dishes.The place is also easily accessible and there's a huge mall parking right next to it so you should have no trouble finding a parking spot.
Having read the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, we drove two hours out of our way to stay close to the restaurant and booked a table for Thursday, September 15. The reservation was accepted and they were given a cellphone number. We arrived on time and discovered that the restaurant was closed for the evening. A nearby restaurant manager told us that Le Puits des Saveurs had a very busy lunchtime and probably decided to close. They did not even have the courtesy to telephone. If an establishment has such a lack of ethics, it does not matter how good the food is.We shall not go back and we shall not recommend this restaurant to anybody.
I am the owner of two restaurants in London UK.This Restaurant is Amazing, the quality of the ingredients used is great, the simplicityand professionalism in the execution of the dishes is fantastic, service is discreet and efficient. I had an oxtail starter which was very very good....and guess what ?I ate a simular starter in the Gavroche in London and I prefered the one from Le Puits des Saveur.....big time !I'll be back and back again....and I'll send my friends !
A fantastic set lunch. Rock steady and assured cooking from start to finish. Pleasant, attentive and discrete service. The restaurant was packed to the rafters and rightfully so. Booking is essential if you want to enjoy great food and get an amazing bang for your buck. Why oh why aren't there more restaurants like this in England!
