We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Le Relais Bressan. This place very much reminds me of some of the great eating places I went to while in France. It is authentic.The owners are very friendly providing exceptional service.The food is sensational with lots of classic French dishes. The sauces are just divine. All of this in a beautiful setting looking across the valleys makes this a charming place to dine at.If you are visiting during the day don't forget Cocorico which is right next door. All the chocolates are handmade by the talented Sebastien Clerc. The raspberry and the lavender will blow your mind away. And the hot chocolates are the best I have ever had.
The food at this restaurant is amazing, there are no other words to describe it. However, dining outside on December 6th was terrible. There was no breeze and it was very hot and stuffy. I think having just one outdoor fan to keep the air moving could have made a big difference. But the food was so good that I will definitely be back, no doubt about it. The service was excellent as well. Overall, I would give the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. The price per person for a lunch meal is between A$20 and A$40.
