Le Relais d'Asnieres

This restaurant is off the tourist trail in the small village of Asnières-la-Giraud. We called in once for lunch while out driving from Saintes and it was so good we drove there especially for lunch on another day. Value for money is incredible, starter, main...course, desert for The menu is limited to three main courses but each time we visited we found something we liked. The starter help yourself buffet is amazing! At least different salads and fruit to choose from. Our waiter appeared a little surly on both occasions but maybe he was having a bad time. Highly recommended, worth going out of your way for
