Le Relais De Barbizon

I love this restaurant. This place came from a visit to Fontainebleau. I never expected the food to be so well prepared and of such high quality. I ordered a plate of foie grass. This appetizer was the pure heaven. The presentation and quality were excellent. Then I had a steak with pepper sauce with French fries. That was also excellent. At the end of this meal I had one of the best cheese I ever had in France. I also have to mention that the wine was great. The decor was very elegant and the very chic clientele. Next time I'm going to France, I'll definitely dinate in this place. Taking into account the quality of the food, the service and the refined ambience of this restaurant, I expected to pay a lot of euros for this extraordinary culinary experience, but I almost burned when I gave the waiter the bill there 110 euros for 2 people. It was so cheap that I couldn't believe it. I highly recommend this place. Barbizon is also the cradle of the impressionist movement.

This restaurant has not delivered to food, service, comfort or environment. They only deliver on the invoice!!! Moderate food, I got a cold Lobster Ravioli dish, heavy pasta, bare lobster and crushed cold cream. Unshaped personnel. Items in the menu were not available and could not answer any questions without checking with the kitchen. Untiring chairs and rugged surroundings, Shabby toilet facilities... had to look for soap and toilet roll in the cleaning cabinet. We paid without complaining, as it was a gift for the company we were in. I don't know how they would handle it and never go back.

Delicious food, an excellent wine menu and attentive and personalized service as it is hard to find today. Highly recommend and more than 5 stars should be possible here. My favorite: the mashed potatoes and a crepe suzette as dessert

Must come, make a reservation. Everything is perfect here, the working fireplace added some winter charm. Everything very well done!

Everything is amazing about this place. Visit during Spring/Summer when the terasse is open. 10/10
