Bien que la cuisine ait fermé au moment de notre arrivée, le restaurant nous a préparé quelques assiettes froides qui étaient composées de délicieux fromages, de charcuteries, de salade et de petits pains chauds qui ont satisfait nos papilles. Don't go here unless you want to drink from chipped glass and cut your mouth, My partner cut her lip from a chipped glass and to make up for this we were offered a single glass of wine. The reply from the restaurant owner said, "our glasses are crystal so it couldn't have been chipped" yet the sommelier Inspected it and apologised and changed it immediately, Typical, treat tourists like garbage, Over priced Boring atmosphereAnd they said the table behind us didn't enjoy our company!!!!! We stayed our last night in France in the Tower room, la Suite Royale. Though the heat in France was scorching, the breeze from the river made the room comfortableSometimes "charming decor" can mean it's a bit run down, but not here! The room has old world charm but modern comfort and cleanliness. The view of the river from the room was spectacular. The hosts were very friendly and tried hard help despite our language barriers. If we ever get the chance, we will stay here again!
We were very lucky that our bedroom looked out over the Loire. To see the water flowing past was lovely. Our room was large and airy and decorated in a French understated charm. We had a fantastic dinner and breakfast. It's a great place to see the real French countryside.

Ideal location, superb view of river. We don't speak much French and it was great that the staff were so helpful with that. Everyone was so nice to us: reception, our waitress at dinner, AND The Chef!! Like Arnie, 'we will be back' !!!
Ce soir, j'ai mangé des côtes de bœuf dans ce restaurant et j'ai trouvé un grand cheveu noir et gris emmêlé autour de la pomme de terre et du maïs - cela m'a vraiment dégoûté du repas.
The food was lovely but it was very expensive. The service was good but there was no English on the menus and none of the staff spoke English which made it very difficult for us.

Limited menu for the price. The staff were good and knowledgeable on wines. Lovely surroundings especially in good weather.
La pizza est délicieuse, avec un bon choix de saveurs (mon préféré est l'agneau kebab).
