Le Relais Saint-michel

We had dinner here for the view after an amazing day on Mont St. Michel. We unfortunately arrived after a tour group and before another tour group. They did not come to us for more than 20 minutes. Drinks took more than 30 minutes. Our starter was a warm soup that came out cold. The omelette was warm but dry. The lamb was tough. The crime brûlée was good. It took 15-20 minutes between stops at the table and took nearly 30 minutes to get our check paid. The view is excellent, but enjoy the view nearby but stay on the island or pick another place.

The food here is Too expensive most likely for the view of Le Mont Saint Michel island but please know that you can get the view clearer and better just outdoor. Eat here only because you need to eat and never for the view. The view is everywhere in that whole area. Good luck!

Stopped here for a lunch included on a tour Very surprised to find the excellent quality meal, fish pie , salad , desert and a very nice local cider included The view of Mont St Michel was an bonus , with an uninterrupted view of the Abbey across the fields

The panoramic view of Mont Saint-Michel is mesmerizing. The cuisine is traditional, no fancy and expensive. The service is long. And if several tourist groups arrive during lunch, the service becomes veeeery long.

This restaurant has nothing going for it. Poor quality food, very over priced and average service. They don’t seem to take any notice of their reviews.
