Her husband sells their sublime baked goods at Carlsbad Farmers Marketon Wednesday 's. As I searched on Yelp for a new place to patronize I decided to call. Bla 's French accent was flawless like my aunt 's who was born in France. I inquired about buying Sourdough bread loaf (the only bread I 'm able to eat I was stunned when Bla said she would make my sourdough loaves on Sat morning. I ordered 2 because she makes 2 sizes. This bakery is one of the most authentic and healthiest options in the area. Unlike others, they don’t overload their pastries with glaze, so you won't feel like you're consuming a sugar bomb. The croissants have a delightful crunch on the outside while remaining soft and buttery on the inside. Their beignets are among the best I’ve ever tasted, surpassing even those I've had in Louisiana. They’re soft, not greasy, and simply delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try. And of course, they offer some fantastic baguettes as well!
I believe the food is good, but the atmosphere can feel a bit somber at times. My main focus is on taste, and they do excel in that area, which is what matters most to me. They've definitely succeeded in that regard. However, walking in at 8:30 in the morning to find just one croissant in the display case is a bit disheartening. I shouldn't have to inquire about what’s in the back; everything should be readily available up front!
These croissants are truly French-style—light, fluffy, and freshly made. I hope they will have vegan beignets available soon. They also offer a fantastic selection of coffee. How often do you find a French bakery where the staff speaks fluent French? Their vegan options are typically available at the local farmers' markets as well. I highly recommend this bakery in Oceanside! It's my absolute favorite. You'll find them at the Oceanside Farmers Market on Thursdays, as well as at their shop in the Aldi shopping center.
This place FAILS on most all levels. The only thing authenticly French is the bad attitude by the staff. Way better alternatives in the area especially if you head towards Carlsbad.
The best pastries in North County. From their baguettes to their cakes, everything is to die for. Authentic French pastries as the owner is from France and a certified pastry chef.
Ordered a 10 birthday cake 1 day in advance and they did a really great job on such short notice ??. I left the seat heat on in my car and it melted a little ?

Fantastic bakery! The fruit tarts are incredible, along with all the other pastries and bread options! They often sell out quickly, so be sure to plan ahead!
Very cute. One lady working but was very sweet. Coffee was awful though, cronuts were filled.. prefer just dough
