Le Rendez-vous Cafe

Our brunch at Le Rendez-Vous Cafe unfurled like a captivating tale last Wednesday morning. From the instant we stepped in and were welcomed by Lisette, a combination of wonderful aromas embraced us, reminding us why we chose to eat brunch here. Lisette, our gracious server, welcomed us with a radiant smile, and led us to our table. Our table was in the corner and offered a panoramic view of the restaurant. As it was just past 11am, the restaurant slowly started to fill with patrons. We arrived before the lunch rush so took our time reviewing the many options the menu offered. 1st time here we came for lunch and apparently they serve breakfast until 1pm and lunch served until 4pm! We both had the French onion soup which was delightful! Also tried the Coq Au Vin which was tender and juicy, never had chicken this well prepared anywhere! The meatloaf was great with all the mushrooms and sauce. Good portion for both dishes, will be coming back to try the desserts next time too. Left satisfied and just wanted to share our thoughts, looking forward to their grand opening!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant last week with our waiter, Russell. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, and was welcoming and friendly. Everything we ordered, including the Steak, shrimp Po'boys, Duck, mixed seafood appetizer, and mixed berry crepes, was absolutely delicious! It is clear that the Chef at this restaurant is very skilled. We were impressed with our meal and will definitely be coming back. It is a great addition to Old Town Elsinore.

Had a change in plans and decided to try this place. Staff was very attentive and pleasant, we had a flight of tastey mimosas! Brunch was delicious! Good menu options. A little pricey for the area. Will try again and use our Groupon. Réservez une table maintenant

I was taken by surprise by their food. We had the French onion soup, clam chowder, beef stroganoff, and pot pie. Both tasted so fresh and so good. Drink order took a bit, but food made up for it!

Russell is a great maitre d . Food is great. Staff is excellent Great place to have brunch and on the weekends they have a great breakfast pot pie. Yum. Can't wait to go back. Capt. LMF 1470

They were rude and changed menu on day of,they sat people with no reservations before they sat us,and told us on phone they were only taking reservations!?! And the prices were crazy!
