Nice spot for a quick drink near the marche. Service was friendly. What could have been better: the lunch menu isn't great, and what we ordered was just about ok. The burrata and tomato salad is confused and could have been so much better. I felt it was put together by someone who does not enjoy salads, and stuck a burrata on top of their traditional side dish. As others noted the vinaigrette is not homemade (for the price, you'd expect it). The filet was actually strips of cold meat with a few pieces of gherkin. Not terrible at all, but neither of us would order this again or come back. The proof is in the pudding: while the place was very busy for pre-lunch aperitif, it became much quieter...
La Repere est l'endroit idéal pour profiter de quelques couchers de soleil et un plat de tapas ou deux. L'hôte, Virginie, était amical, accommodant et courtois tout au long de notre visite, et elle portait un masque hygiénique et pratiquait la distanciation sociale. 2 Affligem a la pression ont été magnifiquement servis et Virginie nous a parlé à travers le menu de style tapas avec perspicacité et charme. Nous avons commandé 6 plats qui sont tous venus en bon temps, ont été savoureux et ont fini assez efficacement. It’s obvious that they use very high quality ingredients for their tapas because everything is so fresh and delicious. The cocktails here are also amazing. Overlooking the charming port of Ars, it is one of the best places in île de Re for light meals and aperitif with very friendly atmosphere. Especially when we don’t want to eat heavy meals, the generous servings of two or three tapas with some wine or cocktails are just perfect. Super pet friendly and always providing doggie drink bowls. Even during the busy period, the service is always quick and efficient. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, no wonder we keep coming back for their delicious tapas
Nous avons demandé du café glacé sans sucre et ils nous ont dit qu’ils ont fait du café glacé avec «sirop d’orgeat» et nous avons donc demandé le café sans lequel ils ont dit ok. Quand ils ont apporté les cafés, ils ont dit qu'ils ont ajouté du sucre de canne. Donc je suis retourné et j'ai demandé à nouveau d'avoir le café sans sucre parce que je suis diabétique. Le serveur, Virginie, est alors devenu extrêmement irrité et était très impoli. J'ai enfin eu mon café, mais c'était une très mauvaise expérience.
Delicious tapas and lovely ambiance New to the area whilst on holiday, we stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant overlooking the charming port of Ars, in our opinion it’s one of the best places on Ile de Re for a light meal with a very friendly atmosphere. We took the recommendation from the young waitress and had the 3 tapas together with 6 oysters, it was all so fresh and delicious, fantastic flavours…. Highly recommend the Le Repere Ars in Re
Rain or shine, Le Repère is such a fantastic spot to eat and hang out. Service crew is so very kind and thoughtful, coffee is delicious and home made pastries a must. Closest to the farmers market and facing the sunset later in the day if you’re up for tapas. Last but not least, wine list is amazing. No wonder locals have their habits there ;
Incroyable bar avec une ambiance géniale! Les boissons étaient fabriquées avec expertise et l'atmosphère était animée et agréable. Le personnel était sympathique et attentif, rendant l'expérience globale exceptionnelle. Hautement recommandé pour une soirée entre amis.
