Le Rive Gauche - Réservation de table

Being Easter Saturday, it is difficult to find a restaurant that is open. We had already been to Rive Gauche for a refreshment and its situation was ideal for basking in the sun and watching the barge traffic on the Canal du midi. Easter Saturday and the temperature has dropped 10 degrees so out with the woolly sweaters again. The bar was very busy, lots of cyclists and tourists. We had a wait but were quite willing as we were all hungry! We sat inside sheltered from the wind and were served pizza and hamburger à cheval with chips. Nous sommes arrivés ici vers 20h45 et on nous a dit qu'il y avait un léger problème avec le four qui devrait être résolu rapidement. Nous avons bien compris ce que la serveuse a dit, mais elle n'a cessé de répéter et de marmonner avec une attitude vraiment désagréable. Nous aurions dû partir, mais nous avions faim donc nous avons décidé de rester. Le four a été réparé et les pizzas étaient bonnes. Son attitude était épouvantable.

We ate here twice while we were staying nearby at Le Hauts du lac. We were very impressed with the young English waitress who promptly took our order. It was raining and the place was warm and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The pizza was excellent and the omelette and frites very filling! The red wine was very good and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed it so much we went back again! Well done

This small cafe is located beside a bridge on the Canal du Midi. The terrace or the covered patio are a marvelous place to sit and watch the Canal traffic while enjoying a morning coffee, an aperitif, a light lunch or dinner. Both the restaurant and menu are basic, but the efficient and always pleasant service have made La Rive Gauche a firm favourite whenever we are in the area. Réservez une table maintenant

Came for drinks and ice-cream in the sunshine. The waitress was very friendly despite being so busy and the girls really enjoyed their big ice-creams overlooking the canal. Although we didn't eat a meal (we came in the afternoon) people did start ordering food before we left and what we saw looked good.

We stayed in Homps during our cycle ride along the Canal de Midi and ate at this this restaurant fir both a lunchtime snack and an evening meal. Very freundlystaff with a simple but interesting menu which is appealing after a day in the saddle when you just want a lovely home cooked meal.

Lovely little restaurant overlooking the canal. Eaten here before and it's always great. Didn't see the Moules Frites on the menu this year which I really missed, but had a great pizza. Casual little eaterie that is excellent value for money. Staff are really friendly...More

Nous étions réservés dans la maison d'hôtes voisine et cela s'est avéré être un charmant bar/café pour se détendre le soir, en regardant le monde passer sur le Canal du Midi. Le vin rosé a été apprécié. Réservez une table maintenant

Nous sommes allés à 4 (dont 2 enfants) et chacun a pu se régaler. Peu de clients, décor simple mais aux couleurs de l’Inde et un serveur aux petits soins. À refaire !

Première fois dans un restaurant indien. C'était très bon et très généreux. Le serveur était très gentil et serviable. Je recommande.
