Le Roi has been a preference for takeaway coffee and a toastie (definitely at least 4 out of 5 for that) in the past however this was the first dining in experience. It is not a huge space. At popular times it might tend to fill up quickly although Saturday morning around 10.30am presented no issue for 2 random arrivals. Staff were efficient and energetic and we were coffeed and fed in good time. Menu choices were varied with the usual suspects included in the options. There is a large TV screen attached to a rear wall which was in part distracting and I would imagine handy if you needed a distraction. Been multiple times and can NOT flaw it. COFFEE: in my opinion, is the best in the area BY FAR!! FOOD: not only very tasty but plenty of variety, and always consistent in quality. STAFF: All staff across the board are welcoming , friendly and efficient. They're always happy to stop and have a chat but when in peak they all work like a well oiled machiene. SERVICE is outstanding and i've a high standard as I too work in the Hospitality Industry
I love the atmosphere of a nice quiet cafe and usually go there for hot chocolate but lately service has been down. I ordered a cup of hot chocolate and the lady there said mug or cup i specifically said cup and she heard me and repeated the order. But after waiting for ages my drink finally came in a mug and I was in a rush needing to go.

Le Roi Cafe is a great place to grab a Coffee with Breakfast or Lunch, the atmosphere is calm and peaceful, the staff are attentive and friendly, the Coffee is Delicious and the Food is definitely no exception I Highly Recommend Le Roi Cafe
The coffee was amazing, so was the orange juice, berry smoothie and croissant. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave a good laugh. The atmosphere was great and we appreciated the World Cup playing.
I had the BEST bacon and egg muffin here!!! It was like something my Mumma would make. I’ll be back! Thank you for the amazing service too.
Hadn't visited in some time, and looks like all new staff. But the coffee is still very good as is the bacon and egg on Turkish bread.

Nice decor and staff are friendly enough. Our coffees were too milky. I want to taste the coffee, not just a hot cup of milk.
They used to be better. Now the food is just average. I ordered scrambled egg but it turned out more like omlette
