We had dinner on the terrace of this restaurant in Porto. The interior of the restaurant didn't look very inviting, but the terrace was lovely, surrounded by lots of flowering plants. Always nice eating outside on a beautiful summer evening. The terrace is situated right next to the road but not many cars passed by when we were sitting there.The waitress brought us some olives as an appetizer, but those weren't really my taste. They had a sour taste I didn't enjoy. I ordered the seiche a la mode corse (octopus in black sauce) and my boyfriend went for a pizza Romulus with tomato, goat cheese and honey. In the centre of Porto on the Route de Calvi located Nice little restaurant and pizzeria. Lady of the house is very friendly and wants to give you a pleasant stay. You Can try the Menu Seasonal with al kinds of local (corsican) dishes. Just try and find out. Choose one of the starters, one of the mean courses and after a cheese platter with local cheeses you round of with a Nice dessert. All for the little sum of 23 euro's. You have either a local wine of a local beer and start with an corsican apperative. In one night you taste a lot of the corsican kitchen. Comme un autre critique similaire, nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel dans la rue, et notre endroit préféré était fermé le dimanche, donc nous nous sommes endormis. Les pizzas avaient l'air appétissantes, mais nous avons choisi le poisson grillé qui était simplement commandé. Sa garniture pour...une escapade était assez bonne, mais on aurait pu deviner que c'était une énorme entrée à partager. Ils ont également un très beau muscat corse. Pas un mauvais endroit; dirigé par un propriétaire sympathique et personnel. Mais il y a mieux à Porto, même si on sait qu'il n'y a pas trop de choix un dimanche soir.
Like a similar reviewer, we were staying in the hotel 150m up the road, and our favourite place was closed on a Sunday, so we strolled in. The pizzas looked appetising, but we chose the grilled fish, which was just OK. Their Herb tarts for an entre however was pretty good, but would advise to share it as it a huge starter. They also have a very nice Corsican Muscat.Not a bad place; run by a friendly owner and staff. There are better in Porto however, but beware that there's not too much choice in a Sunday night

Bonne nourriture et ambiance conviviale et détendue. Il y avait des lasagnes et des spaghettis carbonara. Fondant au chocolat et tiramisu tous deux très bons. Le deuxième soir, nous avons mangé de la pizza et de la soupe de poisson. Pas une bonne pizza. Garnitures clairsemées et trop de purée de tomates.
We stayed in the hotel just up the road and were being especially lazy. So the the next restaurant would do. It was a pleasant little surprise My partners fish was fresh and beautifully cooked and my pizza crisp and thin. The service was excellent and the fresh fruit salad to finish, again a little treat
Stopped in here for a quick lunch, were able to be in and out within 40 mins or so. We both enjoyed our pastas and found the portions to be very big and good value. Service was quick and friendly. Beautiful views from the terrace!
This is not the way you should run a restaurant. The pizzas are OK. But when you order something else prepare for the worst you have ever seen. Also the service is not what it's supposed to be. Not friendly at all.
