Le Royal - Réserver une table

We had the menu of the day at EUR 22 each with a half carafe of red wine. The chicken livers and melted goats cheese starters were excellent and generous. Then the mains were curried chicken and salmon in sorrel sauce with crème caramel and blueberry pie to finish. The meal was very good and the place is a light airy place with red gingham The manager gave us a little lemon schnapps to finish with our bills.. Excellent value for money.

A very friendly restaurant with plentiful portions of great quality food. We have Moule Marinierre, Stake Tartare, Fondue and Entrecôte and all were fabulous.The atmosphere was vibrant and the staff were really friendly and were working really hard.Book to secure a table although we managed to get a table for 7 2 hours before we wanted it.

The family who run the place are lovely but the chef , who smokes, let's the whole thing down. Had moules in what looked and tasted like dishwater. Frites were fat and frozen. Even the salads vert was second rate.Prices low. Red Wine ok but served cold from fridge.

Went here having wandered through town looking for a French restaurant that we could afford. Good varied menu with lots of carnivorous options. Very nice wine list and a good spot to sit outside. Hope to go here again.

Nice outside eating area - dog friendly. Service was excellent as was the lunch. Two of us had tartiflette and one salmon tagliatelle. Very large portions of high quality food. Extensive menu - would recommend.
