Le Saint-mo - Réserver une table

My wife ordered a fish and chip meal at a restaurant and was disappointed to find that the portion of fish was very small (approximately 1 ounce) compared to the huge 8-inch piece of batter. When we brought this to the attention of the Chef/Owner and asked for the cost to be removed from the bill, we were met with rudeness. The Chef even went so far as to insinuate that my wife couldn't cook, despite her 40 years of culinary experience. Ultimately, the Owner refused to remove the cost from the bill, forcing us to pay with a credit card since we didn't have cash on hand. This was by far the worst meal we have experienced in our 30+ years of dining out during our travels.

Complained about the stodgy batter and tiny piece of fish, owners came to the table and would not accept our opinion, we were asked if we could cook firstly then even though we were told by the chef the battered fish was perfect, he would like to make another one, I argued if he though pt there was nothing wrong with the fish, why would I want him to cook another one, I also reminded him the customer is always right and you certainly do not come to the table and argue with them. I have travelled the world and have rarely had to complain at a restaurant, this food warranted a complaint.

as an English-speaking couple in a French restaurant, the waiter was fantastic to try his best to speak English and help us with our food and drinks selection. eating was good, I won't say great, but with such a big selection I never expect to be amazing. my man had the laughter and it was wonderful. the waiting times were not bad as we had seen from others. we were really pleased that the waiter put our appetizers in the first and once we put them in our meal, so we had actually time to eat and enjoy the business. all in all it was a good experience, my drink can confirm that!

The restaurant offers gluten-free options as indicated by the serving staff. I decided to order the soup and salad. While they were tasty, I was slightly let down because a few years ago they used to have gluten-free burger buns.
