as an English-speaking couple in a French restaurant, the waiter was fantastic to try his best to speak English and help us with our food and drinks selection. eating was good, I won't say great, but with such a big selection I never expect to be amazing. my man had the laughter and it was wonderful. the waiting times were not bad as we had seen from others. we were really pleased that the waiter put our appetizers in the first and once we put them in our meal, so we had actually time to eat and enjoy the business. all in all it was a good experience, my drink can confirm that!
Great location right by the lake front but what a rip off! We ordered a poutine with bavette 18 on the menu) and were charged $24 for the bavette steak $3.50 for poutine as an extra! And it costed us $2 to swap fries for a side salad to go with my steak tartare. We argued the bill with the waiter but he was having none of it. So food is average, service is painful (the worst we have seen in our 3 weeks in Canada) and the bill is not only wrong but way too overpriced for what it is!
