Marilyn and I enjoyed a late dinner on a Sunday night. Our choices were limited along the marina in Villeneuve Loubet since many restaurants were closed, San Marino was open and inviting. The service was excellent even with the restaurant being fairly busy. Marilyn had an over abundance of steamed mussels, and I had Linguini Gambas (shrimp), both excellent. We shared a 1/2 carafe of house red. Since the hour was late we passed on dessert even though the selection was interesting. We were glad to find San Marino open and enjoyed the meal and service. It's probably not a restaurant we'd choose unless we were specifically looking for Italian fare in France. If you're looking for very good Itali...
Atmosphère calme et romantique avec un joli patio. J'ai pris le menu complet : poivrons rôtis et ail en entrée, steak pour le plat principal et tiramisu en dessert. Tout était délicieux. Le personnel était sympathique et n'a eu aucun problème à nous expliquer certains plats français. Le manager est venu à notre table pour vérifier que tout se passait bien et pour avoir une petite conversation amicale. Les prix sont raisonnables également. Je reviendrais certainement.

La nourriture était bonne, mais les pizzas semblaient un peu brûlées sur les bords. J'ai pris un steak et un plat de pâtes aux poissons. Le steak était un peu gras mais correct, et le plat de pâtes était assez agréable, mais la sauce manquait de saveur."
Lovely evening spent with close friends here. Nothing was too much effort for the friendly waiting staff. Very delicious pizza however too large for my appetite! Friends enjoyed a large pot of fresh mussels. I'm not a fish fan to be honest so found the smell a tad overwhelming. Apart from that it was well located, well priced with perfect staff. Thank you

My husband and I dined here early after a very long flight from Argentina. Christof, our waiter was very friendly and accomodating. Our meal was delicious and the wine fantastic. especially the John Dory fish and Pizza.xxx We look forward to visiting again very soon.
A good restauant, when you dont want something fancy but need eat. Big dishes, The service is not fast, but not very slow. A big variation on the menu. I only tried pizza, pasta and sallad.
The Pizza here is amazing! They are so big, and the flavour was delicious with a wood burning stove there. Staff were really helpful and the house red was very good quality.
Très accueillant. D'excellentes pizzas. Bon rapport qualité-prix et comme notre bateau est amarré en face du restaurant, ils nous servent très gentiment le dîner à bord.

Omg I've said it before and I'll say it again, the pizzas must be for 2 people to share surely??? Great food. Well priced. Fantastic staff. Lovely ambience.
