Le Savigny - Réservation de table

Walking for a few days on the path to St Jacques Cluny Le Puy, we decided to stop at Pommier after a 20 km stage leaving from St Jean St Maurice. The first difficulty was finding accommodation then, on the advice of our host, arriving in Pommiers around 3 p.m., we tried to book a meal for the evening at Savigny. (Restaurant also well rated) But to our great regret we were told that the restaurant was closed, then that it was only open for guests of the gîte. We came across this restaurant by chance and we were not disappointed. There were 3 of us and we tested the 3 menus for November 11th. A special mention for the porcini mushroom risotto with salty meringue, truly excellent! Very pleasant service and very clean restaurant. Only one point of improvement could be: the room is a little noisy, the installation of sound panels would be interesting. Really very good ! Il pourrait manquer d'un cinquième étoile, mais en allant dans ce genre d'établissement, on s'attend à mieux. Il n'y a rien à redire sauf sur le rapport qualité-prix. La cuisine manque d'audace pour un restaurant qui figure dans la liste Michelin, et le service, bien que agréable et correct, n'est pas excellent. Belle sélection de vins.
