Le Silex - Réservation de table

Yesterday was our 27th wedding anniversary. My wife had a reservation at Silex for 7 p.m. We meet there when we get home from work. Arriving in the parking lot at 6:40 p.m., my sweetheart receives a call from Silex: the storm is brewing and there is no longer enough room for us in the dining room. Turned away like passengers on an overbooked flight, we fell back on China Town right next door. Even if the evening was very nice, it leaves a strange taste to see our reservation at Silex canceled... a first for us, despite our great age ;

Went to this restaurant last weekend, had one of the worst experiences of my life; the tartare must not have been fresh: I vomited for a whole day… If we add the fact that the service was really slow and not really friendly, I won't go back there at all.

Very nice restaurant with a view of the lake and harbor, fantastic in summer. The food was good, desserts were excellent. Service is quick, but there are many different employees and coordination doesn't always work. Waited longer for the bill. Réservez une table maintenant

Wonderful location right on the lake. The food was also very good, but the portions were small. The service could be better, the orders were forgotten several times. If you can get this under control, it would be enough for 5 stars.

It's a wonderful restaurant with delicious food and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. There is also a magnificent life with your feet in the water
