Le Sud - Réserver une table

I have been dining at the Le Sud for a number of years, and consider it one of the hidden gems of Pau. Were it to be in the centre of town it would be far more popular than it is today. We often simply take the Menu du jour, which is always different and often a remarkable surprise.This restaurant is full most lunchtimes, although due to its location is quiet in the evenings. This is a real shame as the chef seems to excel himself in the evening, and it is definitely worth going a la carte. The service is efficient and always polite.Renovated this summer, it has a modern feel, and all in all makes for an enjoyable meal.

Always busy yet staff are very efficient and friendly. Food for the price is excellent, 15E for 2-courses, 18 for 3 and all several notches above the the quality and presentation of the white van places locally. Very good wines by the glass as well

I drive by this restaurant all the time and from the outside it looks nothing special. Go inside though and the decor is modern and the food is excellent. Good service too and a good choice for a business lunch.

We have eaten here twice since arriving in Pau. The food is delicious and is presented beautifully. The restaurant offers great value for money. The service is good and friendly. We will be back regularly!

beautiful meal , well prepared, imaginative and tasty. very happy! the outdoor room is perfect setting on a warm summer evening
