We selected this restaurant, due to its location and yummy-looking menu, for a special birthday celebration with a family group of 8 people. Let's start with the food: it's good. I had the coeur the boeuf tomatoes for starter, sea bass for main and cheese platter to close off. Everything tasted well, but the cheese platter was nothing special. Other people in our group had the steak tartare with oysters for starter and bavette for main. The oysters dominated the flavours of the tartare, which is a shame. But otherwise the food was well prepared and tasty. But price/quality is off-balance here, with 42,50 euro per 3-course menu (and surcharge of 5 euro for bavette). The quality is good, but not that special and I don't have a problem with smaller portions, but some people at our table were still hungry after 3 courses. And when you're spending that kind of money on a meal (or actually in general), I do expect friendliness and the feeling that you're welcome at a restaurant. The owner seems to think you should be grateful to be able to eat his restaurant, and was rather arrogant not only towards us, but also to other guests around us. Apparently the fact that there are many tourists that will only visit once, makes the owner forget that running a restaurant is all about making people have an enjoyable evening. Other staff are friendly enough though. All in all: good food, but prices are too high and the owner's arrogance makes me feel you're better off spending your money finding somewhere else where they make you feel welcome.

The food was great but the person who ran it was not nice at all, very arrogant and wasn't open for any feedback. Really expensive and ALL GOOD FOOD COSTS EXTRA . Main course costs like 20 euros and the 'premium' things like the bavette costed 5 euro more.Conclusion.Good money but the people were not nice at all.

We've been meaning to go here for a long time and are very glad we did. Had a superb lunch. I had veal kidneys whilst dining companions had chicken. The kids' options are great - smashing spaghetti bolognese!! Service was great, very welcoming, good english and just enough banter. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Very cosy terrace on a warm "Provencale" summer evening.. Tarbot with truffelsauce was sublime. Great wining and dining till late in the evening. A very hospitable Dutch host who made this restaurant his life's work. Don't y'all go there 'cause there's limited space on the terrace.
