This rather unprepossessing brasserie cares deeply about its food, its atmosphere, and its service. Admittedly, their attention when the six of us arrived already predisposed me towards them. Then, with our aperitifs, we were given a tiny taste of a beet gazpacho. Heaven. The formule...for the three course dinner was a great price 19.60 and WHAT deliciousness awaited. We had entrees of chevre chaud salad and a wonderful ceviche. my wife and I spent the evening of our first stay in this beautiful restaurant and the meals, service and atmosphere was fantastic. the English-speaking employees in France were very warm to our French basic knowledge and must have listened very much to us to get through. I would recommend to anyone interested that a booking is essential as it was very busy and the kitchen closed at 9.00 a.m. for new orders when we were there. we parked our car over the street in the nearby cinema park for free.
Le lieu est très beau, on dirait d'abord un restaurant dans la salle de réception d'un ancien théâtre (plafond richement orné). Service incroyable : les dames les plus souriantes et rapides tournent autour de vous, discutant tout en apportant de l'eau et du pain à votre table...avant de se rendre compte que cela pourrait être insuffisant. Nourriture faite maison super bonne, délicieuse, fraîche et magnifiquement présentée. Bon arrêt !
L'emplacement n'est pas très prometteur, cependant la nourriture et le service sont excellents. Nous avons mangé au Théâtre deux fois lors de notre séjour à Lavelanet et à chaque fois la nourriture était intéressante et servie avec le sourire, en plus d'être très raisonnable en termes de prix. De plus, en tant que mauvais locuteurs de français, nous ne nous sommes jamais sentis mal à l'aise de quelque manière que ce soit.

this was our first visit to this restaurant, which is just a few minutes walk from our new house. the service was warm and in English, which was helpful for me! the menus when the tag was excellent value at €20 pp with great selection. the quality of the food was very good and we enjoyed every cure thoroughly. thanks to the staff for a pleasant evening. we will certainly come back to din.
We did not expect to have an awesome dining experience at first, as this brasserie is located at a busy street in Lavelanet. The food is really delicious, fresh and regional. The price is very reasonable for the quality and the stuff very hospitable, making...sure you feel right at home. We will return for sure!
Friendly small brasserie with ambitions to do a bit more than normal. Good value lunch menu using fresh good quality ingredients and incorporating a personal and regional touch in all dishes. Recommended.
I was there a few times for having a Café au lait in the morning combined with some Croissants from the close by bakery from Christian Recoules a yummy breakfast! Service always was very friendly.
