Marseille en tant que ville n'est pas pour tout le monde, y compris ma femme et moi. Le point culminant de notre court séjour a été notre fantastique dîner au Ventre. La nourriture était sans doute la plus délicieuse que j'ai jamais goûtée et ma femme a apprécié certains plats qu'elle n'avait jamais osé essayer auparavant. Le personnel est également excellent. Je recommande fortement de réserver ici, vous ne serez pas déçu. Une chose que je ressentais comme d’autres critiques, c’est que lorsque je suis entré dans le bâtiment, je n’en étais pas si sûr. Mais une fois arrivé au restaurant, tout ira bien.
The atmosfere was really good. The food was perfect. The waiters spoke English a RARE phenomenon in FRENCH as well as they refill your table with bread and water very often. The only reason why I rate this gourmet restaurant with 2 stars is that the employee that was responsible for bread cutting didn't wear gloves. I'm demanding for these kinds of restaurants to keep hygiene regulations.It is A gourmet restaurant guys, not a cantine.
We decided to have our lunch at the Belly of the Architect himself when seeing Le Corbusier’s Unité d’Habitation. The restaurant had a beautiful period design and the food was lovely. Elegant without being too complicated. There was a set menu with two alternatives for the first and second servings. The staff was friendly, efficient, and fluent in English. Reservations were not necessary for lunch on a Friday. A memorable experience.
