En fin d'après-midi, avec mes enfants, nous nous sommes arrêtés pour prendre des boissons au restaurant Le Verdelet à Fontaine de Vaucluse. Après une longue attente, la serveuse a fini par nous servir 2 chocolats, 1 café, 2 crêpes au Nutella, 1 gaufre à la crème de marrons et 1 chichi, pour 20,00 €, cher, surtout que les chocolats étaient froids et sans goût. Elle nous a fait payer en 3 fois, les boissons 8,50 € puis 10,00 €, puis est revenue prendre le reste de ma monnaie en voyant notre regard surpris, disant qu'elle s'était trompée. The food was completely unacceptable. Moules were so salty, we couldn't eat them and they had the wrong kind of fishy smell. Fries were still cold in the middle (as in frozen cold). The chocolate mousse that followed the kid's menu was like water under the top layer (could have been frozen too?).The waiting time was quite long and the service unengaged.On the postive side, we were offered to get another meal to replace the moules (but couldn't really see the point)
There seems to be mixed reviews for this restaurant, we liked it. We really enjoyed the fish soup with croutons, cheese and rouile .....we did not expect anything nearly so good, give it a try. Main courses were also good. Excellent service, very friendly and great atmosphere. Don 't be put off by the less enthusiastic reviews - the restaurant was busy on two occasions we went there and the other patrons seemed to enjoy what was on offer!!
Nous sommes venus visiter ce joli village avec l'intention de prendre un bon déjeuner avec les enfants. Quand je suis entré dans le restaurant, j'ai d'abord demandé à l'un des serveurs si nous pouvions avoir une table pour 4 personnes sur la terrasse, le serveur a...disparu.

J'ai déjeuné ici aujourd'hui avec mon mari et mon frère, les garçons avaient tous les deux des moules et des frites délicieuses. J'avais de la truite qui était également délicieuse, le service était excellent et le vin et la bière étaient bien aussi !
We have eaten at this restaurant the times here and have always been satisfied with the quality and quantity of food. Try the moules and frites, you will be amazed at the size of this meal, all the moules opened and there was no wasted food.
Service was ok. Food was all low end. Would not recommend and have no idea why we decided on that spot in the first place. Oh, I know, because the food was cheaper than the other places. You get what you pay for.
They cook with a lot of oil an the food is not tasty. Better find another spot. Or stay hungry to eat at a place where same money is a better investment. To expensive for this kind of food.
