Le Vesuve - Réserver une table

We called in here as the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed for a fortnight. It looked attractive from the outside, and the waitress (one for the whole restaurant so she was rushed off her feet) was lovely. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the exterior. Only one of us chose pizza (he loves pizza but he wasn't impressed with this one); two of us had duck with a honey sauce (we love duck but it was not pleasant, and I left mine). Overall, we were very disappointed.

Excellent pizzas freshly cooked and good wine selections. Other main courses of pasta, steak etc are available and excellent. Recently changed management but were not disappointed on our first visit after changeover. Worth a visit and situated next to the chateau and music theatre.

Le Vesuve est un petit restaurant qui sert une excellente cuisine à un prix très raisonnable. Le personnel est très sympathique et attentionné. Leurs pizzas sont toujours excellentes avec un service à emporter désormais disponible.

Vaut bien une visite pour le déjeuner ou le dîner. Idéal si vous visitez les Châteaux ou faites du shopping dans la charmante ville de Pontivy. Excellente pizza et bon rapport qualité prix et un hôte très souriant et heureux.

I went there several times and loved all the dishes I tried..pasta, fish, pizza..all very tasty!! And the owners are so friendly..Surely recommend this nice and cozy restaurant!!!
