Le Vieux Chalet - Réserver une table

Went here twice. Very accommodating, they work very hard during the season, seven days per week. Good varied menu, first visit their we were eight rather lively chaps, second time just two on a last supper. Was recommended Tartiflette first time and had to go back to have again. Chilli oil also good. Great wine choice. Highly recommend to book in advance. As these guys are so busy day in day out. Engage, be polite and you get back more than you put in.

The woman in charge is really rude! She hates foreigners. She says the tables are all reserved and that's not true. She wants foreigners to take away the pizzas. “Take away is fine!” It’s one of the rudest and irritating people I’ve seen. We saw empty tables and even 15min before 10pm, the time they close, the tables were there, empty. She kept on saying they were taken! Unbelievable!!

The lady who takes orders must learn to behave with customers. She spoke very badly to us, and was making some facial expressions . I won't come back here and neither will my friends . I recommend taking waiter courses .

Really great food. Much better than I was expecting. Nice staff and a great location at the top of the ‘inclined lift’. Lovely views over the calley. Awesome mountain burger.
