I can only agree with many of the other very positive reviews posted here. We had the set menu of three courses and each one was excellent. For the first time since I have known her, my wife (of 26 years to the day, as it was our anniversary celebration) ordered and ate three courses. All were pronounced delicious. My lobster risotto was extremely tasty, and was followed by ris de veau, the best I have ever eaten. Desserts were also superb. The service was excellent throughout and the decor and ambience were relaxed and convivial. Tables were well spaced so you did not feel at all crowded.All in all a really top class evening and we will be going back soon!
My company held its board meeting at the Henri IV - executives flying in from London, SF, NY. I decided to have dinner at the Wauthier instead of at the Henri IV.It was a great success. I know the restaurant well and love it, but my companions that evening are used to eating at top restaurants all over the world and were unanimously high in their praise. My CEO said it was the best dinner he had had in years.Quality/price ratio extremely highKudos to me from the board, and kudos to the Wauthier from me!
Stunning French food & service with a warm friendly smile which is so unusual anywhere near Paris!We have been as a couple, with friends and family and overtime this restaurant has been wonderful. We even had a vegetarian with us one time which can be a little hard to cater for in a meat & fish loving country, we told Le Wauthier about this in advance and they couldn't have been more helpful.Highly, highly recommend this place.
A perfect evening, with truly great food, a very warm wecome and impeccable service. Every facet of the meal was of the highest quality, from the delicious ingredients to the sophisticated combination of flavors to the beautiful presentation, including 1/2 bottle of wine per person that perfectly complemented the food. Every mouthful of all three courses was memorable. This wonderful restaurant is worth a special trip.
