"Highly recommend this small beach restaurant. The food is of a very high standard, the service is faultless and they are family friendly in a way I've never experienced in the UK! We were x adults, x babies and x years...olds and they couldn't do enough for us. I am also gluten free and had one of the best meals I've ever eaten"

The host and her assistant where breathing down our neck during dinner. She not only demanded a negative PCR TEST, but also wanted to see our passport! It was the week before the Health Pass became mandatory in France. We always complied with the required...documents every where we were asked, but checking our passports was out of line! Although we had a reservation, we were seated in a location that was not a normal place to have dinner. There was plenty of space inside and outside. We asked for a different spot but we’re told it was reserved. By the time we left, there were still plenty of empty tables outside. FOOD was decent, but nothing too exciting. My fish dish reminded me of the food that is served at the nursing home where my year old aunt resides not too far from Plérin. Too much puréed carrots and a piece of fish. See pic. However the rest of the staff was very nice. We finally freed ourselves from this place without eating dessert and went across the street to order an ice-cream cone from a lovely young lady. This is not the normal experience that we have traveling in Brittany. People are usually pleasant and accommodating

After checking out other local options, we came to this family-run restaurant to celebrate the birthdays of our two daughters-in-law with all the family including Sam aged two and a half. As we were too many to accommodate inside, we had two tables pushed together...at the far end of the covered terrace where Sam could be contained without disturbing other diners. He was served first with chicken nuggets and chips (not advertised) which kept him busy while the rest of us tucked into beautifully cooked steak, duck, fish and veal dishes, followed by some delicious desserts. The service was welocming, prompt and friendly, the wine was good and the ambience great. it was also very good value. We had such a good time that we booked to come again on the last night of our holiday (we were within walking distance, just up the road). The second time was just as good, and we noticed that although some of the desserts were the same, they were all presented differently from our first experience, which shows that the chef takes pride in his work

We were fortunate to eat here months ago whilst travelling through the area. At the time we considered the meal and dining experience to be exceptional. Unfortunately on this occasion that was not the case. Service was excellent, warm and attentive and extremely professional....Our Egg and Pea starter was okay at best, if anything a little bland. The Duck main course was superb, with generous portions of duck that were well cooked along with a sweet potato mash that was delicious. All of our party felt the deserts were a disappointment, certainly not the standard we would expect of a restaurant of this calibre. I had a strawberry tiramisu, which was anything but. Quite literally a custard over strawberrys, it appeared as if little thought or effort had gone into this dish. Other members of our party had the Apple desert and were equally disappointed by their dish. Certainly not the standard of months previous and not confident we would want to recommend to other diners

We were drawn to this restaurant at lunchtime as it was already busy. Luckily, we were early enough to get a table for two without a reservation and the restaurant was soon full. The service was professional and friendly. The chef/s produced a wonderful meal...which was superbly presented, quite different and excellent in flavours. I would definitely go again if in the area and make sure I book in advance
