Le Woods is the restaurant attached to Le Regina hotel. We ordered dishes from a quite attractive menu. The starters and wine came rapidly, but we waited 70 minutes for the main course - a record in our experience. Staff did not appear concerned about our plight. We noticed that orders for drinks by other patient diners met with a swift response. The restaurant was only half full, so why that unconscionable delay? An experience not to be repeated.

On the way back from the Loire, we needed to stop for the night prior to our shopping stop the next day in Boulogne and Eurotunnel back. The hotel has good quality clean rooms and up the corridor is a great restaurant. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the food was excellent, well cooked and very fresh. Thoroughly recommend this a a stopover - relaxing and sets one up for the next day either back to England or on down through France.
Ce restaurant représente un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Le personnel était sympathique et efficace, la nourriture était de haut niveau. Ce n'est pas une cuisine raffinée, mais ce ne sont pas des prix gastronomiques. Le bar est convivial et confortable et propose un excellent aperol spritz. Nous y retournerions certainement. J'y suis allé deux fois les deux soirs, le restaurant était plutôt plein. Alors réservez d'abord
We had never tried this resto despite our love of this area, that was our loss the food and the service where fantastic, the service especially was of the highest standard and nothing was too much trouble.The menu is excellent try the prawn raviolis to start and then the duck fantastic.
