Visited late morning, Bank Holiday Monday, for coffee and cake. The coffee and food was nice enough, it's just a shame that the staff serving couldn't force themselves a smile. Both the girl on the till and the lad clearing tables, I got the feeling that they'd rather not have been there. I suppose, dealing with Joe Public on a busy Bank Holiday would wear anyone down eventually. Oh well.
Everything was exceptionally delicious. Quality food at a very reasonable price. We both had ‘just’ a sandwich but it was way beyond that. All of the ingredients were generous and so tasty. Drinks were great too. This place stands out in a town that has numerous eating places. The staff were delightful too!
This small restaurant offers delicious food and drinks. They have a wonderful variety of teas and a delicious menu. I tried the ginger scones for the first time and they were fantastic - not to mention they were a generous portion. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast.
We were travelling in the UK from New Zealand and we stopped here in December to have a hot drink and escape the cold and snow. This cute cafe had the best scones out of our entire trip.... Excellent lunch of tea, coffee and sandwiches. We sat out in their little garden area and enjoyed a chicken and pesto and a chicken and chorizo sandwich. Both very fresh and with a good amount of chicken. Tea and coffee so good that we bought a bag and returned to buy more!
Have visited this establishment before but yesterday was another delightful visit. Great court yard seating area and friendly staff. Toasties weee tasty and filling. Good pot of tea and coffee. A must when visiting Broadway.
The small plates at this restaurant are scrumptious, with unique flavors and vibrant colors. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes at reasonable prices. Don't forget to sample the Sangria!
