"I do like this restaurant. Book on a Saturday night at 8 when it fills up and has a great atmosphere. The service can be variable but on this occasion the waitress was delightful and very patient with our awful French!"

We've just returned from having an excellent meal at this intimate restaurant situated in the heart of the old town. We chose the 22 Euro set menu which was superb value and included an aperitif (the house Griottine was lovely), a main course (we had the St Jacques gratinee and gratinee de la mer), dessert (a crepe flambeed in calvados & a Suzette), all washed down with a drinkable Cotes du Rhone. We could have had coffee also included but were too full. The food was delicious and the service was prompt & friendly, the interior was rustic without being untidy and the whole experience was memorable. We will definately return on our next visit to Granville.

Though the crepes were OK and nothing was bad about them they also weren't the best we ever tasted, the service was terrible! We had booked beforehand and were seated and given a baby seat but it took them 45 minutes to get us 4 basic crepes. By the time we could have had a whole 3 courses dinner somewhere else. Very disappointed as I knew this place and it used to be great up to last year. They really should do something about their service/ kitchen management. Plus, I know quite a bit about restaurant management and "being full or busy" is NEVER an excuse for a poor and slow service!

This is our favourite place to eat when in Grenville which is usually about twice a year. Especially in winter the place is warm and welcoming with its open fire. The food isn't fancy but is very tasty and the crepe suzette is marvellous. The location in the old town is an added bonus.

This small restaurant in the old town has a lovely cosy atmosphere & serves excellent food. We usually eat from the 22euro menu with 2 courses, an aperitif & wine. Well worth seeking out. Note that it was closed on a Monday evening.
