Bad experience ... a fluke or the new norm here? Far from the tourist trapped centre. I used to love this place...By UK or US standards this place might be defined as amazing (sic)! Attractive pictures but It seems to have lost its charm and its younger business customers..I had been coming to this place for years on a irr/regular basis. for special lunch time treats! It transpired despite the cooler temperatures a less than friendly offhand service .And without the pampering one expects when one pays treble the price for fairly simple dishes....in a theoretical gourmet hall of fame.The slightly salty (but really boring) fishy fried spring roll as a starter followed by a TRULY excessively salty main (navarin instead of faux filet as announced when I booked) ) suggested 1 their former creativity and empathy has waned....2 ALONG WITH ignoring rule 1 of any beginnerIE TASTE THE FOOD BEFORE DISHING IT OUT TO POTENTIAL RETURNING CUSTOMERS...!!!On the bright side...1 The cold decor is elegant2 they gave us 2 samplers as the appetiser took for ever. 3 the terrace is great if you smoke but we don't4 it is next to the Meinau football stadium with loads of free parking and miles from loud noisy tourists,5 the food was well presented, 6 the quality still seemed fresh 7 the lunch time deals would have been good value had the food been as wonderful as in the past!Not so bright side1 salty food. onto 2nd liter of water2 no wow factor and average seasoning 3 unfriendly lady taking reservations by phone4 curt explanations when my 20 year old asked the composition of the mixed plate of desserts5 painfully slow service 6 service lacking any inkling of even vaguely commercial friendliness...Conclusion : Unless I develop amnesia or alzheimer. I doubt they will see my custom ever again.Mme le Chef (veronique)? Svp gouttez ce navarin. salé à outrance! Mon fils a répondu parfait. àz votre serveur ... sachez il a menti par politesse .il n'a que 19 ans et n'ose pas blessé.

We barely came back from the ecrin of flavors and we immediately wanted to share our enthusiasm. We've been conquered by lumberjacks at coffee. We were able to enjoy this place thanks to the gourmet passport and we are delighted. the reception was simple and warm, the cozy room and the pleasant atmosphere. The summer truffle was divine. the dishes whether it was the lotte, the calf or the merlu... everything was perfect in presentation and flavors. It is a Strasbourg table that had been recommended to us and that we will recommend in our turn without hesitation. a big thank you to the whole team that was stormed this evening and who no longer knew how to give it to the head but it is proof of their success... well deserved. and to finish an important point: the value/price ratio is excellent and this even out of passport. We have much better food and for less expensive than in a star of the wantzenau we tested last week.

restaurant located outside town center but which really worth the detour! in a slightly classy atmosphere.. we offer dishes with quality products with original flavors. Whether you're meat or rather fish, you'll find your happiness: from the start to the dessert your taste buds will be seduced!For cheese lovers, I recommend the cheese plate: top! budget point: no doubt, we have it for his money!

Apart from a somewhat long service to my taste and which would merit a more elegant cabbage, while remaining very satisfying, it must be admitted that the offer a menu purchased a offered allows you to spend a great evening at extremely advantageous prices. everything was very good, the wine chosen by the excellent server. a very good first experience.
